After going 7-5 in the inaugural season of the Nike EYBL Scholastic, Brewster Academy arrives at the Classic ready to showcase its speed as it tries to reach higher goals this year. Losing three starters (Elijah Crawford at BYU, Nojus Indrusaitis at Iowa State, and Daniel Jacobsen at Purdue) hurts, but the reloaded squad looks to keep the pace up and play fast.
The Bobcats are led by their two returning starters: senior Dwayne Aristode & junior Sebastian Wilkins. Aristode, a native of the Netherlands, is ranked 21st in the ESPN Top 100 and is on his way to the University of Arizona next year. Wilkins, with his handful of offers, is ranked 40th in the Class of 2026.
With Aristode & Smith back in the fold, the guards will be counted on to fill in the production as well. And according to head coach Jason Smith, “Brewster Academy has more guards than San Quentin.” Seniors Ebuka Okorie (Stanford commit) and Killyan Toure (Iowa State signee) are the headliners of the group, but junior Darien Moore (Seton Hall commit) helps form the three-headed monster.
