Coach Ryan Hirata begins his fifth season with a different-looking team from last year’s squad that had unusual height and front-line depth. By contrast, 10 of the 12 players on the current roster are listed as either a guard or guard/forward, which translates into a more up-tempo attack. Sophomore returnee Declan Beckette (6-3) is a versatile guard/forward who can score from inside or out, and runs the floor well. He scored 22 points in a 55-50 victory over King Kekaulike.

Senior point guard Aidan Wong (6-0) is a returning starter who can distribute and score; he had a 16-point effort in a 45-29 win at Radford. Junior guard/forward Ayden Goo (6-3) is the primary outside shooting threat with good range from beyond the arc; he scored 15 points in a 65-61 victory over Baldwin.

Their only loss was to defending OIA runner-up Mililani, 60-52.
