The Mules (5-0) are off to another strong start, including victories over perennial state contenders Kahuku and Punahou. Wilson, a 6-3 forward/center, is an inside-outside scoring threat averaging 13.6 points per game including 20 points against Punahou and 16 at Kahuku. Returnee Trystin Stevens, a 5-10 guard/forward, is another well-rounded offensive player who leads the team in scoring at 16.6 ppg, including 21 against Kaimuki. He has hit 11 shots from 3-point range.

A new impact player is 6-foot senior guard Zach Ranos, a good shooter who is averaqing 9.4 ppg including 16 points at Kahuku. Returning point guard Cobe Wyatt (5-7) has good handles and excels as a floor general and in the open court creating shots for teammates off of drives to the basket. Senior guard Chaysen Montayre (5-7) is another returnee who can shoot from outside and also is a solid on-ball/off-ball defender, and sophomore Josiah Simbre, a 5-7 guard, brings high energy on offense and defense and is effective in the open court.
